This research study focuses on the methods, proposals and in general on all those pedagogic expositions that influenced the Mexican pedagogy and that later on would revolutionize a big part of the Mexican educational system in the last part of the 19th century (1875-1900). This work in its methodological aspect constitutes an innovation in its type on having been approached by the cross-cultural analysis based on the theory of the reception. The previous fact is with the intention of going so far, as to open new methodological routes, which in addition to leading us an interpretation and heuristic analyses, will help to consolidate new valid and reliable paradigms that will strengthen this type of research studies.
