Education for debate: research on Mexican problems, 18th-20th centuries, a text that contributes to educational historiography and invites professionals in history and other disciplines to investigate a range of possibilities that Mexico offers, from a national and international perspective. I work with an interdisciplinary approach [Pedagogy, Sociology and Anthropology] which is even more enriching. It consists of four chapters: I.- "Flowers of piety". Devotional education and religious practices at the Colegio de San Ignacio de Loyola, (1767-1861); II.- Normal and technical education of the indigenous girl (1889-1910); III.- The formation of Mexican teachers: between science and militancy, (1870-1936); IV. Collective memory: a theoretical reflection for the teaching of history in Mexico. The primary sources that are presented and the critical analysis of them, nourish the historical consciousness that we all must have.
