After a newly achieved independence and with the aim of consolidating a new nation, the population faced political and economic problems that forcefully delimited the state in which educational processes and practices were found. In 1833, in the state of Querétaro, the lines that should govern the teaching within the school spaces began to be drawn through a decree, these very particular lines of the place and the historical moment form a good part of the school culture of the first-letter institutions in Querétaro, a concept which allows you to delve into the relationships and school practices detected as a cultural manifestation carried out within a limited and schooled space through the analysis of legislation and teaching methods. This article deals with elements found in the Historical Archive of the State of Querétaro to bring the reader closer to the educational processes of the entity.
