Abstract

The Dossier called “Themes, problems and regional approaches to education, 19th and 20th centuries” is the result of the discussion and presentation of research advances by the members of the World History Seminar Themes, problems, and traditional and current education, 19th-21st centuries, which has been carried out at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Iztapalapa since 2021.

Federico Lazarín Miranda, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, México

Profesor-Investigador de Tiempo Completo en la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana de Iztapalapa, Área de Historia del Estado y la Sociedad, Cuerpo Académico de Historia Mundial. Investigador Nacional Nivel 2 y tiene el Perfil Prodep SEP. Doctor en Historia de México por la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UNAM. Miembro fundador, tesorero (2002-2006) y presidente (2008-2010) de la Sociedad Mexicana de Historia de la Educación. Trabajo en el Archivo Histórico de la SEP, 1982-1991. Es coordinador del Archivo Histórico Científico Manuel Sandoval Vallarta. Corresponsable del Centro de Documentación Histórica Mtro. Jan Patula Dobek de la UAM-I .
