The following paragraphs present comments regarding considering research in the history of education, among its many nuances, as a dynamic reflection of the cultural and social transformations of any community, specifically educational inequalities; because “one cannot talk about educational inequality without mentioning social inequality, since both terms are related, affecting equality of opportunities in the educational system” (Aranda and Hernández, 2017, p. 108). Likewise, specifically, Méndez (2009) indicates that within the structure that makes up the Mexican educational system there is educational inequality, which persists in a marked stratification attributed to the educational offer.
